TPB Code, ICB Standards, one system.
Under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA), the TPB Code from 1 July 2025 requires registered BAS Agents to maintain a documented Quality Management System. Most BAS Agents also hold an ICB membership, with its own ICB QMS Standards. Onestop QMS handles both at once — one org, one manual, one audit trail covering every standard.
- ✓ TPB Code (1 July 2025) obligations covered
- ✓ ICB QMS Standards aligned
- ✓ Auto-generated QMS manual referencing both standards
- ✓ Live registers (risk, incident, complaint, breach, conflict)
- ✓ Insurance + ICB membership expiry tracking
- ✓ One-click PDF for any TPB or ICB compliance review
Run a BAS practice? Manage every staff member's QMS obligations from one screen.
From July 2025, the TPB Code makes principals responsible for staff competency, supervision and a documented QMS. Onestop QMS for Teams gives you the dashboard, sign-off matrix and audit trail to satisfy that obligation without making compliance someone's full-time job.
More on For Teams →Common questions
Do I need a QMS as a sole-practitioner BAS Agent?
Yes. The TPB Code applies to every registered tax practitioner regardless of size. Onestop QMS works equally well for sole practitioners and multi-staff practices.
Does it satisfy ICB QMS Standards?
Yes. ICB has had a QMS expectation in place for some years. The structure overlaps with the TPB Code; we cover both.
What about CPE tracking?
Onestop QMS focuses on the QMS itself. For CPE / CPD tracking against TPB or ICB cycles, see our sister product Onestop CPE.
